Stacks opens new Soloist eatery
A NEW restaurant has opened in Belfast city centre, with the creation of 25 new jobs.
Stacks Healthy Kitchen has now opened a 1,600 sq ft unit at the Soloist building following an investment of £300,000.
The new restaurant joins coffee shop chain Caffe Nero at the office block, where businesses including law firm Pinsent Ma- sons and business advisory firm KPMG.
The venue has been opened by James Deery, who already owns Stacks Bistro on the Mallusk Road in Newtownabbey.
It’s been styled as a ‘healthy eating-focused’ restaurant, with specialisms like a ‘pick and mix breakfast box’ and a ‘protein-packed shake menu’.
It will serve coffee from Co Antrim company Wake Up and Taste.
Mr Deery said: “We are delighted to finally open Stacks Healthy Kitchen.
“This restaurant has been two years in the making and it is wonderful to see everything come together.
“The Soloist building was a prime location for us, with the newly-rebranded ICC Belfast (Waterfront Hall) next door, as well as Hilton Hotel, St George’s Market and a wide range of large companies located in our vicinity, we knew this would be a unique and exciting location.
“We are confident Stacks will be well received by the people of Belfast and we already have plans in place to bring the restaurant to other locations in Northern Ireland.”
Stacks is also planning an app to enable customers to order 10 customised healthy meals a week for delivery to their home.
Italian restaurant Gustoe is also due to open at the site.
