Mother of Belfast teen who took own life urges others to seek help

-

Jennifer Armstrong: Heartbreaking. Thoughts and prayers are with the family and friends of all concerned. The sad part is there is very little help for mental health; in some cases, three to six months for an appointment to see mental health team.

Berni McCrory: Heartbreaking news. Poor boy. There is not enough help for people who are suffering from mental health problems. Something needs done. Such a beautiful young boy. Probably felt it was the only way out. You are in the arms of the angels now.

Geraldine McAlorum: So sad. Nothing being done to help. Stormont sitting empty because they want an Irish Language Act. There aren’t going to be any young people left to learn it. Heartbreaking.

Elizabeth Izzy McFall: Dear God. So, so sad. The reality is the Government don’t want to know and don’t actually care. We are living in very dark days. May this family find the strength to carry on.

Karen McKee: What a handsome looking young man with his whole life ahead of him. Absolutely heartbreaking for his family. Thoughts and prayers are with them.

Rosemary Morrison: This is truly heartbreaking. Something has to be done. How many kids have to die before this is considered a crisis? Sincere condolences to friends and families of the deceased.

Andrea Morrison: Heartbreaking. God bless all family and friends.

Danny Keenan: So sad. Something needs to be done.

Lois Grayson: Heartbreaking. God bless the family circle.

Sybil Skelton: A tragedy for the family and the

friends of this young man.

Tracey Johnston: Beautiful young lad. Heartbreaking.

Roisin McGinn: So sorry for his family, especially his poor mum. The road ahead for her is dark and terrifying. Don’t do this to the people who love you. It does get better.

Margaret McLaughlin: I know your pain. I lost my brother the same way in 2013.
