McGuigan can spark Slaughtneil title tilt

WHEN Slaughtneil reigned supreme in Derry football from 2014-2017, it appeared that their invincible tag would remain for an even longer period.

But Coleraine Eoghan Rua had other ideas about that and put them into practice by overcoming Lavey in last year’s final, 1-12 to 0-12.

McKaigue brothers Chrissy and Karl, Brenda Rogers, Christopher Bradley, Padraig Cassidy and the exciting, free-scoring Shane McGuigan are expected to be in the vanguard of their challenge.
