Ignorant Johnson has lost all credibility and is bringing office of Prime Minister into disrepute

-

BORIS Johnson’s downward spiral continues. First his proroguing of Parliament was deemed unlawful, now he has a deadline to explain gifts of public funds to an American pole-dancer while he was London Mayor.

Some people say he is at least trying to do something. The reality is he is only saying he is doing something.

We have an ineffectual Prime Minister who’s happy for Britain to drift towards a no-deal Brexit while he seeks photo-opportunities amid increasingly hostile receptions across the country.

Johnson (said to have the attention span of a gnat) does not read briefing papers, preferring to wing it. The result: he handles questions with verbose generalisations and very weak jokes, vainly attempting to conceal his ignorance.

He desperately wishes he could prorogue the British public, who keep asking him awkward questions that he can’t answer.

His ignorance was sorely exposed in EU meetings—he does not understand how the single market works. Too lazy to research outside his eurosceptic bubble, the Prime Minister had no grasp of the actual situation.

John son’ s credibility is largely exhausted; he is bringing the office of Prime Minister into disrepute. He claims the title of ‘Right Honourable’, yet he lied to the Queen and now refuses to resign.

Another extension to Brexit looks likely. With currency speculators who want a no-deal exit pulling the strings, the impact of this move on everyone else may be ignored.

The needs of the rich come first. The poor, the struggling and the rest of us can go to the wall as far as Johnson is concerned.
