South Belfast choice between SDLP and D UP, says Colum East wood
Harriett Moore-Boyd:
Delighted that Claire Hanna is a pro-choice person. Having a choice in anything is the epitome of democracy.
Sean Gill: Should there also be a choice then to murder, rape, steal, assault, sell drugs, torture and kidnap?
Christine Robinson:
Well, there is choice for all those things — and people do them. They just aren’t legal.
Harriett Moore-Boyd:
You need to read my comment again. There is a difference between ‘anything’ and ‘everything’. Likewise, there is a semantic difference between ‘should’ and ‘having”.
Andrew Liggins: How can you not understand the difference in acceptable social choices and crime? Of course, there shouldn’t be a choice in the things you mentioned. And I doubt Harriett meant
there should be. In fact, you know fine rightly she didn’t.
Francis Massey: Choosing to murder babies is an evil choice.
Rebekah Mayne: As already stated, we do have all those actions to choose from. They’re just illegal. Are you trying to convince people to be anti-abortion? Because, I have to say, you’ve got a very odd way of going about it.
Jo Foster: What if your mother had exercised that choice? Only barbarians could murder a child in the womb. Exercise your choice nine months earlier.
Peter McAllister: The unborn child hasn’t a choice. You were born to make a choice. Funny that all pro-abortionists are alive and well.
Michelle Power: Well done Precious Life for highlighting that the
SDLP is no longer the party it once was. A vote for the SDLP is a vote for the most liberal abortion legislation in Europe. It does nothing to address coercion, nor does it offer positive alternatives to women. Popular politics overriding founding principles in all nationalist/ republican parties, with exception of new party Aontu.
Leah Rea: I am delighted Claire Hanna is contesting this general election.
