Deflated Gerrard admits he needs time to think over his Rangers future

-

Hannah Stewart:

It’s pure sentiment alone that makes him so attractive to Liverpool supporters. He was a legend during his time with us. But there’s no way he should be our manager now. Plus, I hate the way he throws his players under a bus in public. Not professional at all.

Ray Scott:

Stevie G is here until Liverpool come calling. They have improved greatly and can beat big teams. Consistency is the problem and, of course, taking the smaller teams for granted. No excuse for Morelos’ behaviour, he’s been given many chances. Great footballer, awful attitude.

Christopher J Wightman:

If he can’t hack it in the Scottish leagues, how is he expected to cope if he goes to the English league? This is the period where your managerial credentials come into play. Able to withstand tough times as well as good. He’s only been a manager for two years.

Patrick Joseph:

He won’t go. Stevie was brought in to stop the 10 in a row. And he’ll stay to stop the 11, 12, 13 and maybe even 14 in a row.

Francis Massey:

He has spent a lot of money and won nothing. Why would Liverpool at this stage come calling? Also, he is falling out with his players — never a good sign.

Stephen Ganley:

They should keep him. Doing a great job there.

Johnny Vegas:

From top of the world mid-week to considering his future on the Saturday. Tough week, Stevie.

Sean Donnelly:

Another one of the No Surrender brigade surrendering. Here we go, 10 in a row.

Martine Gee:

Hopefully, he won’t make any hasty decisions.

George Smith:

Bad decision, dropping the wee man before important cup match. Could have fined him heavily and banned him for the next league match.

Bruce Lee Braiden:

God

bless ya, Steven.

Vinny Kirwan:

Hopefully, he’ll stay. He’s doing a great job.

Ciaran McGivern:

Great footballer, but not the brightest spark.
