Nolan puts Twitter trolls ‘who should know better’ on notice he will fight back

-

Bernie Young: Social media, while it has advantages, unfortunately is abused by those with malicious intent. Trolling is extremely nasty and damaging to so many who just want a bit of banter and interaction with others. If you’ve nothing good to say to people, then you’re better saying nothing. Just be kind to others. It doesn’t cost you anything.

James Gunning: Don’t know a lot about Stephen

Nolan, but agree there should be legal action to take against these people who abuse anyone they just feel like hurting.

James Woods: I don’t agree with online trolls, but I honestly believe that Northern Ireland would be a better place if his shows did not exist.

Paddy Clarke: Always talking about his money. Give some to the homeless if you have to much of it, Stephen.

Wm Montgomery: Definitely no time for online trolls. Agree they should face some sort of sanction. It’s very simple. If you don’t like a presenter, or programme, tune out.

Martin Edwards: I can’t bear Nolan. He’s a matter of taste and he’s not something I can listen to, or watch. But I wouldn’t lower myself to slander, or personal attacks.

John Johnston: I think the Nolan show has run its course. Let the educated William Crawley do the morning show.

Andrew Cee: There’s a lack of respect on social media. I see it all the time — especially to female politicians.

Lee Hammond: There is a total lack of respect. Full stop. Half the people don’t respect themselves. How are they ever going to respect anyone else?

Pete Lynas: Well, that’s social media for you. Top tip: use the off button and then you won’t need to read it.

Brian Conlon: Stephen, these people are just cowards. I wish you could go face-to-face with them, but as l said: cowards.

Jason Turner: The internet is a playground.

Marcey Downey:

Disgraceful human beings. Take their money, Stephen.
