Coronavirus: military ready to provide assistance in NI when required

-

Danny Crooks: They’ll be used to set up field hospitals and transport bodies when it happens in a few weeks.

Shirley Crawford: We need all the help available. I doubt they will be on foot patrols. Maybe a field hospital if the situation worsens, who knows? But all hands on deck at present.

Aodhan Mac Artain:

Brilliant. This has worked well in the past.

Garry Shields: Aslongas it doesn’t take them 800 years to go home again.

Niki O’halloran: Atatime like this, there should be no animosity, hatred or religious divide. We are all in this together and I, for one, am glad there are still people out there willing to risk their lives to keep us safe in our beds yet again. Praise and applause where it’s due.

Carol Fletcher: Thank you to the people in the front line helping, as they have families too. And the Army know how to do field hospitals, so thank you.

Patrick Joseph: People know this is going to happen — and soon. Difficult times ahead. Hopefully, this is over soon and these people, like us, can all return to their families.

Alice Elliott: A big thankyou to all our soldiers and all everywhere who give themselves to help others.

Alan Lowry: No matter what your background, views, opinions or beliefs, if this was to happen we should be thankful this is even available to help us.

Joanne Elizabeth

Gardiner: If there wasn’t so many stupid, selfish people in the country we wouldn’t have to do this.

Eileen Mcguigan: Yes, that’s what is desperately needed right now.

Alfie Mccrory: Don’t wait until it’s too late — get them on the streets now.

Janet Perry: Very welcome they will be.

Philip Scott: Typical. When the going gets tough, who do we call? The British Army. Who then gurns about it? The Shinners and dissidents. Who helps society? The British Army. Who gurns about it? The Shinners and dissidents. If they don’t want the help, they can clear off down south.
