Travellers arriving from Spain have to quarantine for 14 days

Gearoid Gorman: Why do people think they are immune? Remember the folks who travelled from Italy in March. Now I see selfish people planning to go on holidays abroad despite the worries. Their 14-day quarantine should be to work in cleaning a hospital.

William Hicks: People would soon need to realise that this is a deadly virus. To be booking holidays, jumping on planes, stuck in crowds on top of other has got to bring another outbreak. So really what did happen to stay at home stay safe?

Rosie Isaac: Rightly so based on the amount of cities and towns having to go back into lockdown.

Steven Boyle: Should impose international travel ban to limit Covid spread and spend money in home country to keep economy alive. A real simple formula.

Jane Young: Sad but right decision. I think they should close all borders for a while.

Selina Robinson: Just right. No travel should be allowed. We should be fuelling our own local economy.

Anne Patterson: Total madness to get on plane, never mind landing in Spain. I know people are dying to go on holiday as they can’t wait but you could literally die. Not worth it. There is higher risk in Spain and you could unintentionally bring it home.
