NORTHERN Ireland teenager Ethan Galbraith has been included in Manchester United’s squad ahead of their Europa League meeting with LASK Linz.

United host the Austrian side in the last-16 second leg tonight having won the first game 5-0 behind closed doors in March.

Galbraith, a former Linfield youngster, joined the United academy in 2017.

The 19-year-old made his senior debut as a late substitute in their Europa League group stage defeat by Astana in November.

The Glengormley native also made his Northern Ireland debut in a friendly win over Luxembourg last September.

He will join the squad later this week as he must first build up his Covid-19 test history.

Luke Shaw and Axel Tuanzebe will miss the clash with LASK and the remainder of the Europa League campaign due to season-ending injuries.

The defenders have been omitted from the Red Devils’ 30-man squad for the last-16 second leg at Old Trafford tonight and the final-eight tournament in Germany.

Phil Jones has been included in the group despite not featuring since the restart due to an issue of his own.

Diogo Dalot was not on the video provided of United’s warmup, but Under-18s captain Teden Mengi, Ethan Laird and James Garner joined up with the session after doing gym work.

Elsewhere, Republic of Ireland Under-21 goalkeeper Gavin Bazunu has made Manchester City’s squad ahead of their return to Champions League action.

Bazunu (18) is City’s fourthchoice goalkeeper behind Ederson, Claudio Bravo and Scott Carson. City face Real Madrid on Friday in the second leg of their last-16 tie, with Pep Guardiola’s men leading 2-1 on aggregate.
