NI Covid vaccine timeline: when can I get the jab?

-

Will Pearson: This will be the big challenge of 2021. As more and more people receive their vaccine and believe themselves to be ready to return to normality, the vast majority of the population will still be at risk of becoming infected by these people and getting moderate-severe disease, which won’t necessarily lead to mortality, but will risk long-term health problems.

Alan Murphy: I’m just hoping I still have a jab in four weeks.

Philip Wright: I’m not anti-vax, but for me, no. I’ve had Covid. I have issues after it. I’d rather start looking after my immune system a bit better, which nobody is taking about.

John Thompson: Covid bingo time. But first person to say Bill Gates is out.

Phil Hanlon: We’re so far behind it’s unreal. Step up to it. It takes, in total, 30 seconds to get the jab. Line everyone up — even with the two-metre rule — and doctors/practice nurses should be able to get 500/600 people done a day.

Stephen Moore: Go on to Google. Search this: Northern Ireland vaccine indicative timing. Click images and it’ll show you the chart.

Jason Turner: I’m on the vulnerable list with MS, so I’m reckoning February. I’m still very sceptical of anything

Big Pharma does. Deep down, I’ll never fully trust them, but I’m not anti-vax and I will get the jab when its offered because I hate lockdown.

Reece Rodgers: Not for a long, long, long time. Let’s say 15-plus years, hopefully.

Cath Taylor: It’s all about you? No, it’s not. Think about other people.

Wesley Ashe: I got mine.

Donna Donnan: No thanks.

Rab Taylor: So, this vaccine will make us safe and unable to spread Covid-1984, then?
