Swann: My worst moment? There’s one every day

-

Deirdre Mcglone: Please give this poor man a break. He is working so hard, bless him. Protect him, not the DUP.

Dale Fusco: He has done fairly, considering he’s trying to run a pandemic marathon with the weight of Stormont tied around one leg and Westminster around the other.

Yvonne Mc Coy: We need more vaccines and more health centres to vaccinate.

Emma Jones: Large numbers of the general public seem to be unable to follow sensible advice, such as staying at home during the Christmas holidays,

without being legally forced to do so.

Carol E Smith: Well done, Mr Swann, for an outstanding job. You’ve had to step up to the plate and deal with this totally unprecedented situation and you have been superb. Stay safe.

Debbie Toman: Robin Swann is doing a great job, in my opinion. We can all make mistakes. Is it any wonder the poor man looks exhausted?

Deirdre Shannon: I am no lover of unionist MLAS (or most of the MLAS in fact), but this man was handed a poisoned chalice. In the current situation, there was never ever going to be a 100% right answer. However, to my mind, Robin Swann was — and is — doing the best he can.

Sharon Mcindoe: Fair play to him for doing his best through an unforeseen world pandemic (with a foreseen crumbling and overstretched health department).

Deirdre Hazlett: Doing a job which no one else wanted and in very unprecedented times and doing your utmost. I salute you.

Liz Biz: I don’t think you could have stopped people mixing for Christmas. It’s a tough job and you can only do your best. It’s up to the public to be sensible and protect themselves.
