TWO giants of Irish trad and folk, Donal Lunny and Andy Irvine return to Bray's Mermaid Arts Centre on Friday 11 January for a fantastic session.

The following night, Saturday January 12, songwriter Paddy Casey will take to the Mermaid stage, then the following week the legendary Brendan Shine will come to Bray.

Irvine and Lunny between them have been part of legendary bands like Planxty, Sweeney's Men, Patrick Street, The Bothy Band and Moving Hearts as well as collaborating with great artists including Elvis Costello, Kate Bush and Paul Brady. Paddy Casey, singer-songwriter extraordinaire, makes his first appearance at Mermaid on Saturday January 12.

Fans can look forward to a mix of old and new songs sung with Casey's trademark clarity, purity and passion which have defined his live performances for over a decade. His long awaited fourth album, The Secret Life Of was released in November 2012 .
