Deadline for Arklow Music Festival 2013
AS THE 44th annual Arklow Music Festival approaches intending competitors are reminded that the deadline for entries is January 16, 2013.
Entries are still sought for the local festival which takes place from March 2-10 and draws talent from all over the country.
The annual event is always a popular competition for young and old, groups and solo acts and is responsible for bringing thousands of visitors to Arklow every Spring.
Adjudicators will, as always have a difficult task of selecting winners in a variety of categories and spectators are expected to flood the various venues including St. Mary's College Hall and Marlborough Hall.
The festival syllabus and rule book is now on sale and contains all the information competitiors need from classes, venues and prizes on offer.
As usual Arklow Music Festival is expected to attract impressive talent to the town from across the country.
Familiar faces and new competitiors are more than welcome to sign up to compete.
