SYM­PA­THY

Sym­pa­thy is ex­tended to the Cashin fam­ily on the death of their sis­ter Sarah Kenny. Sarah who died on Christ­mas day is mourned by her hus­band Mau­rice, son Mau­rice, daugh­ter Diane brothers Jack , Ed­die, Robert and Pat, sis­ters Mary, Pa­tri­cia and. Caro­line and many rel­a­tives and friends. Sarah’s funeral took place in Pros­per­ous last week. May Sarah rest in peace.

FLOWER/GARDEN CLUB

The Jan­uary meet­ing of the flower club will take place on Jan­uary 9th in the Jonathan Swift Com­mu­nity Hall at 8pm. This will be a slide show by June Blake award win­ning gar­dener. All wel­come.

Donard/Glen Day­care has a po­si­tion avail­able for a child­care worker who is un­der­tak­ing or has com­pleted FE­TAC level 5 in child­care. All ap­pli­cants must qual­ify for Com­mu­nity Em­ploy­ment.

CARER AND TOD­DLER

Dunlavin Com­mu­nity playschool are start­ing up a new Carer and Tod­dler Group. The group will meet ev­ery Thurs­day from 1-3pm in the playschool. This is a great op­por­tu­nity to meet other par­ents and have a chat over a cup of tea while the chil­dren play.

It also helps in­tro­duce young chil­dren to the playschool and makes it eas­ier for when they start. Par­ents, Car­ers and Grand­par­ents wel­come. En­quiries 045 406866.

Dunlavin li­brary open­ing hours are as fol­lows Tues­day 6.30pm to 8.30pm, Wed­nes­day 3pm – 5pm and 6.30 –8.30pm, Fri­day 11am –1pm and 3pm to 5pm, Satur­day 11am -1pm. Closed on the Satur­days of Bank Hol­i­day week­ends.
