Ghostly goings on
DO YOU BELIEVE IN THINGS THAT GO BUMP IN THE NIGHT?
IF you believe in things that go bump in the night, then make for Powerscourt on the night of March 1 from 9 p.m.
Irish Ghost Hunters will be there to carry out the first ever public paranormal investigation since the estate was formed in 1302.
There have been many claims of ghostly apparitions and paranormal activity at Powerscourt.
Ghost hunter Tim Kelly will lead the mission to prove or disprove the claims through scientific methods.
Partly constructed using the walls of a medieval 13th century castle, Powerscourt House has played home to interesting historical characters including the O'Toole family of Leinster and witnessed events such as the tragic fire of 1974.
Radio presenter Tim Kelly founded Irish Ghost Hunters in 2009.
The team has previously investigated Wicklow Gaol as well as other haunted locations around Ireland.
