THE LAT­EST Daft. ie report shows a large dis­par­ity be­tween houses of sim­i­lar size in County Wicklow and its en­vi­rons.

When it comes to one bed homes Wicklow is more ex­pen­sive than sim­i­lar prop­er­ties in Kil­dare, Wex­ford and Car­low.

How­ever, as ex­pected it is sig­nif­i­cantly cheaper than sim­i­lar prop­er­ties in South County Dublin.

A one- bed prop­erty in Wicklow has an av­er­age price of € 97,359 com­pared to Kil­dare (€ 77,958), Wex­ford (€ 55,041) and Car­low (€ 58,325). South Coun- ty Dublin has an av­er­age price of € 185,939 for one bed prop­er­ties.

The trend con­tin­ues for all other prop­er­ties with Wicklow be­ing dearer than all neigh­bour­ing coun­ties with the ex­cep­tion of South County Dublin.

Two- bed prop­er­ties in Wicklow have an av­er­age price of € 127,441 while three bed prop­er­ties sell for an av­er­age of € 154,861.

Four- bed prop­er­ties have an av­er­age sell­ing price of € 230,210 while five bed prop­er­ties go for an av­er­age of € 279,910.

In Kil­dare the av­er­age price of prop­er­ties is € 102,045 ( two bed), € 124,001 ( three bed), € 184,334 ( four bed) and € 224,131 ( five bed).

In Wex­ford the av­er­age price of prop­er­ties is € 72,047 ( two bed), € 87,549 ( three bed), € 130,146 ( four bed) and € 158,243 ( five bed).

In Car­low the av­er­age price of prop­er­ties is € 76,346 ( two bed), € 92,773 ( three bed), € 137,913 ( four bed) and € 167,687 ( five bed).

In the South County Dublin area the av­er­age price of prop­er­ties is as fol­lows € 267,461 ( two bed), € 332,678 ( three bed), € 458,459 ( four bed) and € 588,795 ( five bed).
