Operation Transformation

DELGANY Running Club is one of the many clubs around the country to participate in this year’s Operation Transformation.

Members will be filmed for the programme and hope to encourage people across Wicklow to get out and get fit.

Deputy Simon Harris has congratulated the club on its efforts to increase fitness. ‘This is an ambition of mine for the New Year and I hope to stick to the resolution,’ said Deputy Harris.

The running club was set up in October 2012 as a free community fitness club. Since its creation the club has gone from strength to strength, with increasing numbers of people coming out to get fit.
