A better deal for customers

SINCE 1996, Barry O’Leary Insurances Ltd. in Gorey built up a large and loyal customer base in North Wexford and Wicklow. In the past year, the company saw a way of giving its customers an even better deal by teaming up with Wright Insurance Brokers in Wexford, to become Wright O’Leary Insurances.

‘We predominantly dealt with commercial business in the North Wexford and Wicklow region for many years,’ explained Managing Director Barry O’Leary. ‘I saw the need over the last few years to become part of a bigger group, and being honest, I’m absolutely thrilled with the new arrangement.’

‘We sold a majority shareholding in the company to Wright Insurance Brokers in Wexford, while I still remain on as Managing Director of Wright O’Leary Insurances,’ he said. ‘It’s still business as usual here in Gorey, but we’re now under a different banner. All the same staff have been retained, and it means that we can provide an even better service, and a better quality product to our customers at more competitive rates.’

‘Tony Wright has been a long standing member of the insurance industry in Co. Wexford since the early 1980s, and he built up a significant business,’ he added. ‘The combined group now is probably among the top ten insurance brokers in the country, putting us in a great position to negotiate the best products and services for our customers.’

‘We provide a friendly, professional service, and we want to do more business,’ said Barry. ‘I’d like to be able to show businesses and individuals the benefit of the new organisation that’s now in place.’
