A MAN accused of the theft of a pair of shoes from TK Maxx in Arklow has been fined €300 at District Court.

Bernard Power of 10 Hazelhill, Killindarden, Tallaght Dublin 24 was charged with theft of good worth €34.99 on September 15, 2012. The court heard that his child was wearing the shoes but ran out before they were paid for and the defendant ran out after him.

His solicitor said if he could have paid for the shoes he would have.
