Probation

SECTION 1.1 of the Probation Act has been imposed on a Shillelagh man who previously appeared in court charged with handling stolen property.

Russell Hickey of Deerpark was charged by Garda Anthony Russell on February 11, 2011 at Coolattin Road, Carnew. The matter had been adjourned for the completion of a Probation Report which if proved positive would allow the court to impose the lesser penalty of the Probation Act.

Judge David Kennedy said that the report was very positive.
