In­spir­ing model show in Carnew

THE fourth an­nual Carnew Model Ex­hi­bi­tion takes place on Sun­day, Fe­bru­ary 3 at Coláiste Bhríde, Carnew from 11a.m.-5p.m.

The event will show­case a wide va­ri­ety of model steam en­gines, die cast models, air­planes, rail­ways, dolls houses and all types of model en­gi­neer­ing at its best. This year's theme is fair­ground models and is cer­tain to in­spire some eye catch­ing art­works.

Ex­hibitors from up to 20 coun­ties are ex­pected to take part in the show from Ar­magh, Ca­van, Gal­way, Cork, Water­ford, Wex­ford, Wicklow, Dublin, Laois, Of­faly, and Kilkenny. With at least 60 ex­hibitors along with deal­ers from each cat­e­gory present on the day it is sure to be an event not to be missed. Lo­cal men Richie Kim­mins, Trevor Walsh and john Cas­tles are the driv­ing forces be­hind the show. Ad­mis­sion is €5.
