Inspiring model show in Carnew

THE fourth annual Carnew Model Exhibition takes place on Sunday, February 3 at Coláiste Bhríde, Carnew from 11a.m.-5p.m.

The event will showcase a wide variety of model steam engines, die cast models, airplanes, railways, dolls houses and all types of model engineering at its best. This year's theme is fairground models and is certain to inspire some eye catching artworks.

Exhibitors from up to 20 counties are expected to take part in the show from Armagh, Cavan, Galway, Cork, Waterford, Wexford, Wicklow, Dublin, Laois, Offaly, and Kilkenny. With at least 60 exhibitors along with dealers from each category present on the day it is sure to be an event not to be missed. Local men Richie Kimmins, Trevor Walsh and john Castles are the driving forces behind the show. Admission is €5.
