Saints march has came to an end

-

SAINTS FC'S stumble is threatening to become an outright collapse. The Wexford club had accrued six victories in their opening eight matches of the season, but they have now only claimed two points from the last seven available to blow the title race wide open.

Their latest misdemeanour came in Moneystown where they scrapped out a 2-2 draw with Redbank United. Efforts from Andy Carstairs and Brian Gallagher earned United a point but despite that impressive point, United suddenly find themselves sitting in the drop zone.

The team who forced them into the bottom two was Aughrim Rangers. The result that did so was a 2-0 win for them over Arklow Celtic B, who's situation gets more and more perilous each week.
