The first real heavy snow fell in Enniskerry on Sunday night Night / Monday morning but nothing like the snows of two years ago. Hopefully all our older residents are being checked out for all good reasons. Help is out there just call someone and you will be looked after. SPORTS

The weather put a stop to all sports in Enniskerry except for darts which went ahead as usual. WORKSHOP

Enniskerry Forum are holding an open workshop to discuss and hear ideas from Enniskerry residents for the 5 year plan for the village for which has received a €12,000 grant from the Leader Fund. The venue is Powerscour­t Arms Country House from 7.30pm to 9.30pm on Thursday 24th January all are welcome. The turnout for the adult training Ladies and Gents is gaining numbers every week with sessions on Monday, Wednesday and Friday in the Enniskerry Ground at Pairc na Sillogue.
