Roundwood Variety Group are buy rehearsing for their forthcomin­g pantomime Little Red Riding Hood which takes place at the end of January in The Brockagh Resource Centre, Laragh. Tickets are now on sale for the show at €15 for 8pm shows and €12 for matinee shows, which takes place on Friday the 25th of January (8pm show) Saturday the 26th (3pm Matinee & 8pm show) and Sunday ( 3pm Matinee) in the Brockagh Centre Laragh. A new term of Yoga classes will commenced on Thurs.17th Jan. for 10 weeks. Classes are held in Roundwood Parish Centre on Thurs.night from 7.30pm to 9.00 p.m Classes will include Asana or stretching and strengthen­ing exercises, breathing techniques, relaxation and meditation techniques. Just a quick note to remind people that Jim O'Hagan will present an interestin­g talk entitled, The Irish Boundary Commission, on Monday 28th January at 8.30pm in The Old School House, Roundwood. The Irish Boundary Commission (Coimisiún na Teorainne) was a commission which met in 1924-25 to decide on the precise delineatio­n of the border between the Irish Free State and Northern Ireland.

There are two cruises this year, firstly a nine day tour from the 30th May, 2013 to the Norwegian Fjords, flying from Dublin to Copenhagen with one night in a hotel. Then we board our cruise ship for our 7 day cruise and one night in a hotel on the way back. The cruise includes Flam Geirganger, Alesund and Bergen. The cost of this cruise is €1,359 all in per person sharing. A deposit of €300 should be given as soon as possible to secure your booking.

The second cruise is to the Baltics. It is a coach and cruise from the 9th to the 22nd July, 2013 (14 days). A Coach will bring us to Newcastle England to board the ship.
