Knife-carrying raider nabbed by security man

A MAN who barged in to the Claire’s Accessories shop in Bray wielding a knife was apprehended by a security guard nearby.

The man in his early 20s frightened a number of customers during the incident last Saturday. A security man nearby grabbed him and held on to him until gardaí arrived and arrested him for attempted robbery.

The man did not get any money in the incident. He was brought to Bray Garda Station for questioning.
