Chef Catherine a hit on UK show
ASHFORD CHEF Catherine Fulvio is cooking up a storm in England and is fast becoming a popular staple of Saturday morning television viewing.
Catherine impressed British TV bosses recently when she appeared on popular weekend show Saturday Kitchen on BBC1, which enjoys more than 3 million viewers per episode.
This has led to a regular slot on the cooking programme and is in talks about filming future shows.
Catherine, who will travel to Italy next month to research her new cookbook, due out in autumn, is also planning to go to the US to work on NBC's food channel.
'Catherine will be travelling to both the UK and the US this year, but dates have yet to be confirmed,' according to her agent.
'She is looking forward to working more on BBC's Saturday Kitchen.'
It will be a hectic year for the chef who is also lining up special celebrations in the summer for the 10th anniversary of her Wicklow cookery school at Ballyknocken.
With a firm plan to boost her profile internationally Catherine said 'my strategy for 2014 is to keeping working in the UK and get more work there and to continue what I'm doing in America and grow Ballyknocken'.
