-

THE winners of this year’s St. Patrick’s Day Parade in Bray were presented with their awards last week at the Town Hall.

Best Overall went to The Laramie and Kelly Walsh High School Choir, Best Community went to Lakers Sports & Recreational Club, Best Band went to Stacksteads Boomerang Band (from the UK), Best Art & Exhibition went to Signal Arts Centre, Best Sports went to Bray Emmet's and Best Open went to Classic American Car's.

‘ The Festival is growing every year, we had some really great events on over the weekend and everyone in the town seemed to really enjoy them,’ said Chair- man of the festival committee Mick Glynn.

‘We were very lucky with the great weather which attracted record numbers to all of our events. The parade was our largest to date and had more floats, colour and music than ever before.’

‘ This year's festival was a great success,’ said Rory Benville, President of Bray & District Chamber of Commerce.

‘We had a lot of free events on which catered for all ages. I would like to thank all the volunteers involved in planning and organising such a fantastic festival.

‘ I would also like to thank all the participants for taking part.’
