Adult Ed. open day
A FREE adult education open day will take place at the Barracuda Restaurant on Bray Seafront on Monday April 7 from 10 a.m. until 12 midday.
The event will give local people the chance to browse information stands on the many different local adult education options available in Bray, and talk to education providers and staff from local adult guidance services.
The event is being put on by the Bray Adult Education Network, with funding from Bray Area Partnership, and will kick off with fun and informative sessions such as storytelling and an adult guidance information talk in the first half hour, followed by information stands open from 10.30 a.m.
‘ This event was a great success last year,’ said Susanne Martin of Bray Area Partnership, ‘and we’re delighted to be able to fund it again this year. People really like the fact that they can come to one event and get information on all the different options available to them locally and also chat to knowledgeable staff about their own particular circumstances.’
The Bray Adult Education Network provides a forum for local adult education providers to work together to identify needs and provide more joined-up services in the local area. The website www.adulteducationhandbook.com lists education providers and support services in the Bray area.
