Cathán into last eight of Talent hunt
ST. DAVID’S student Cathán Timmons is through to the quarter finals of the All-Ireland Talent Search.
Cathán is in 6th year at the Greystones school and from Kilpedder. He will perform a Kodaline song on Saturday night at the competition.
It’s €1 per vote and all in aid of cancer charities. Teacher David Bennett said that anyone who wants to contribute and hopefully help the talented pupil get further in the competition can do so at the school. Cathán will accompany himself on guitar at the quarter final in the Springhill Court Hotel in Kilkenny.
His parents Aidan and May Timmons will be among the crowd there on the night to support Cathán.
Mr. Bennett said that Cathán is very talented however the first time he performed in public was at the school concert last December when he got a standing ovation.
