JOE McCORMAC is looking for your vote for the upcoming Wicklow County Council election.
He’s a local businessman who cares passionately about West Wicklow - you may have met him at the Maxol station in Blessington.
As a businessperson Joe understands the importance of supporting enterprise in the community. In fact he has given employment to over 50 people in his time.
Joe is a Blessington resident, has been chairman of West Wicklow Fianna Fáil for nearly 10 years, has founded his own Resident’s Association in Blessington Abbey and is also a founding member of the Blessington and District Forum.
Joe has been a Peace Commissioner in the Wicklow Area since 1999.
Some of the issues that Joe will be campaigning on in this election are Local Jobs and greater investment in West Wicklow. A Safer N81, Stricter punishment on fly tipping, Protecting Animal Rights, Harsher punishment for theft. He’s also feels strongly about dealing with Rural isolation and Depression.
