CARNEW

-

A Chara, I would like to introduce myself to you, the electorate of the Baltinglass local electoral area.

Some of you will know me but as the boundaries for the County Council areas have been redrawn, others will not so I'd like to tell you a little about myself and how I work.

I am family man, married to Mary, living in Carnew and I have been part of the farming community all my life.

With 20 + years of experience on Wicklow County Council, my record as a councillor goes before me and I pride myself on being hard working and straight talking. I can and always will continue to deliver for the people I represent.

A community man, I've always been actively involved in local charities and voluntary organisations, some examples being, Treasurer of Carnew Emmets GAA Club, South Wicklow Hospice, Chairman of Carnew Community Care.

I place myself before you as a candidate in the local County Council elections and ask you for your No.1 vote.

In return I promise that when re-elected I will ensure that I continue to be a strong, credible voice in the Council chambers.

Working on your behalf to make sure that the needs and wishes of the people of the whole area from Carnew, through, Shillelagh and Tinahely, from Knockananna to Valleymount, from Baltinglass, Blessington and Manor Kilbride and everywhere in between, are expressed and more importantly that they are heard.

I will continue to fight for supports and infrastructure so vitally needed and oft times forgotten when it comes to small rural areas.

Hard working and experienced, rooted in community, I spend my time listening and taking note of the issues that are affecting people and you'll all agree issues are something we are not short on at the present time.

It’s these issues that I have always worked on and always will.

I am very honoured to be able to do this for our local area so I ask that you please give me your No1 to allow me to continue to work on your behalf. Is Mise le Meas
