Paul O’Brien

MY NAME is Paul O’Brien; I was born and bred in Wicklow Town and all my family still reside in the local area. Over the last few years we have all felt the effects of the economic crisis that has bestowed our Country. I myself lost my job and I am currently a full time mature student in UCD. I am also the Chairman of the Irish Soccer Referees Society, Wicklow branch and have close connections to Wicklow swimming club. I am keenly aware that the Labour party has always had a strong presence on Wicklow County Council and I am honoured to be the only Labour candidate in East Wicklow running. I will endeavour to work tirelessly for all the people of East Wicklow: My Main Aims are to: Maintain and Develop Services Befitting our County Town Increase in social housing Increasing levels of investment and employment in East Wicklow Working together with both elected representatives and business to promote Wicklow as a tourist destination
