Sadness at death of Breda after brave fight with illness

THE COMMUNITY of Rathdrum was saddened to hear of the death of Breda Butler, The Ballagh, Enniscorthy.

Formerly of Rathdrum and Glenmalure, Breda was a very active member of the Kirikee community before moving elsewhere with her family some years ago.

She displayed great patience with her battle with cancer in recent years.

Breda had some exceptional talents in all aspects of crafts and worked for a short period in the clothing factory in the RDA Hall.

She was daughter of the late May and Michael Doyle, Kilcommon, Rathdrum. Her death occurred at her final residence in The Ballagh, Enniscorthy and she was laid to rest in Greenane cemetery, near her native home.

Sympathy is extended to her husband son Joe, daughter Fiona, son-inlaw, daughter-in-law, grandchildren, brothers Christy and Leo, sister Ronnie, sisters- in- law, brothers-in-law, relatives and friends.
