Re­source Cen­tre Hours: St. Anne's Re­source Cen­tre is open 9am to 8.30pm Mon­day to Thurs­day and on Fri­day from 9am to 3pm. Those re­quir­ing Bap­tism / Con­fir­ma­tion cer­tifi­cates or ap­pli­ca­tion forms for Bap­tism can ob­tain them dur­ing the above hours. Please note that the Par­ish Of­fice is the only place where cer­tifi­cates and ap­pli­ca­tion forms can be pro­cessed.

Par­ish Of­fice Hours: The Par­ish Of­fice is open from 9am to 5pm Mon­day to Thurs­day and Fri­day from 9am to 3pm.

Mass Times: Mass is cel­e­brated in St. Anne's Church at 10am and 7.30pm Mon­day to Fri­day, (ex­cept dur­ing July & Au­gust). Weekend Mass times are Satur­day 6.30pm Vigil Mass and on Sun­day at 8am, (9am in St. Patrick's Church in St. Colum­cille's Hospi­tal), 10.30am (Fam­ily Mass), 12 Noon, and 6pm.

Con­fes­sions are heard on Satur­days af­ter the 10am Mass, be­tween 12.30pm and 1pm and af­ter the 6.30pm Mass. Mass is now broad­cast on-line and can be viewed by log­ging onto the par­ish web­site:www.stannes­parishshankill.com and then click­ing onto video link.

Bap­tisms: Bap­tisms take place in St. Anne's Church at 12.45pm on the 1st Sun­day of the Month and at 5pm of the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th Satur­days of the Month. A month's no­tice is re­quired. Please con­tact the St. Anne's Par­ish Of­fice lo­cated in St. Anne's Re­source Cen­tre to make your ar­range­ments. Please note that when vis­it­ing the Par­ish Of­fice to ar­range a bap­tism, the child's birth cer­tifi­cate should be brought as it nec­es­sary to pho­to­copy it for the par­ish records but it will be re­turned im­me­di­ately.

Bethany Be­reave­ment Group: The Bethany Be­reave­ment Group is a vol­un­tary par­ish-based min­istry who are trained to lis­ten and to help the be­reaved and griev­ing. The Group holds a Drop-in Cen­tre on the First Fri­day of the Month at 10am in St, Anne's Re­source Cen­tre, and can be con­tacted via St. Anne's Re­source Cen­tre by call­ing 01-282 2704.

The Bethany Sup­port Group is hold­ing a five week sup­port pro­gramme on Wed­nes­day evenings which com­menced last Wed­nes­day night at 7.45pm. If you are feel­ing the pain of loss, this se­ries of lec­tures may of­fer sup­port and con­so­la­tion. Come on the night, no book­ing needed. Each meet­ing will end with re­fresh­ments an a chat. Venue is the Church of the Apos­tles Meet­ing Room, Bally­brack, tonight (Wed­nes­day) and Wed­nes­days / April 2nd , April 9th , and April 16th .

Easter Chicks: Easter Chicks are now avail­able for pur­chase for €2 each in St. Anne's Re­source Cen­tre. All the pro­ceeds will go to­wards help­ing to fund vol­un­teers and sick people from the Par­ish, go to Lour­des later this year.

House Masses: If you would like to have Mass cel­e­brated in your home with your neigh­bour, please con­tact the St. Anne's Par­ish Of­fice.

Un­used Bus Ticket Credit: If you have paid more than the ex­act fare on a Dublin Bus ser­vice, the driver will have is­su­ing a pas­sen­ger change ticket for the amount of the over­pay­ment. If you are not claim­ing this credit , please leave into St. Anne's Re­source Cen­tre as the Par­ish can claim the re­fund and send the money to the Mis­sions in Africa.

Be­come a Vol­un­teer: We al­ready have a vi­brant Par­ish Com­mu­nity but we al­ways need more people to get in­volved in an ac­tive way. If you would like to of­fer some time as a Vol­un­teer in our Par­ish, please speak with Elaine Ho­gan in the Par­ish Of­fice.

SMA Ap­peal: A priest from the So­ci­ety of African Mis­sions will give a talk at all this week­ends Masses. He will dis­trib­ute en­velopes for do­na­tions should you wish to con­trib­ute to­wards this very wor­thy cause.

St. Vin­cent de Paul So­ci­ety: The mem­bers of the Par­ish Con­fer­ence of St. Vin­cent de Paul So­ci­ety wish to thank all those who con­trib­uted to their March collection which amounted to €2014.

First Fri­day: This Fri­day is the First Fri­day of the Month and the Blessed Sacra­ment Ado­ra­tion Chapel will be open from 10.30am to 7.30pm. Priests will be avail­able on tb­hids day to visit the sick and house­bound in the par­ish. Please con­tact the Par­ish of­fice if you know of some­one who would like a priest to visit them.

Youth Mass: Our April Youth Mass will be held this Satur­day at 7.,30pm in St. Anne's Re­source Cen­tre. Satur­day's Len­ten Walk: On Satur­day there will be Len­ten Walk in Glen­dalough led by Fr. Ea­monn Mon­son, de­part­ing from Glen­dalough Vis­i­tors Cen­tre at 11.30am. This year an al­ter­na­tive route will be used and will not be a stren­u­ous as last year's route. Af­ter the walk par­tic­i­pants will be re­turn­ing to St. Anne's Re­source Cen­tre for soup and sand­wiches. On Satur­day mor4n­ing The April First Satur­day Book Sale will take place be­tween 10am and 1 pm in the Shankill Old Folks Day Cen­tre, Lower Road, Shankill, The First Satur­day Book Sale sup­ports the Shankill Old Folks As­so­ci­a­tion and Meals on Wheels.

There is al­ways an ex­cel­lent ar­ray of books on of­fer to choose from so make a point of call­ing in dur­ing Satur­day morn­ing and avail of the op­por­tu­nity to ob­tain some ex­cel­lent read­ing ma­te­rial as you never know what you might find. Tonight (Wed­nes­day) the April meet­ing of the Rathmichael His­tor­i­cal So­ci­ety, Shankill's own lo­cal his­tory so­ci­ety, takes place at 8pm in Rathmichael School, Stone­bridge Road, Shankill, at which Pa­tri­cia But­ler will present her lec­ture ' Wick­low Through the Artist's Eye '.

This is the So­ci­ety's fi­nal in­door meet­ing un­til Au­gust when the So­ci­ety's week long Sum­mer School of evening lec­tures on ar­chae­ol­ogy takes place.
