Sunday Night' Bridge Night in Rathmichae­l School: This event takes place at 7.30pm this Sunday in Rathmichae­l School in aid of Debbie Appelbe who will be working with children as a SUAS volunteer in India this summer. Resource Centre Hours: St. Anne's Resource Centre is open 9am to 8.30pm Monday to Thursday and on Friday from 9am to 3pm. Those requiring Baptism / Confirmati­on certificat­es or applicatio­n forms for Baptism can obtain them during the above hours. Please note that the Parish Office is the only place where certificat­es and applicatio­n forms can be processed.

Parish Office Hours: The Parish Office is open from 9am to 5pm Monday to Thursday and Friday from 9am to 3pm.

Mass Times: Mass is celebrated in St. Anne's Church at 10am and 7.30pm Monday to Friday, (except during July & August). Weekend Mass times are Saturday 6.30pm Vigil Mass and on Sunday at 8am, (9am in St. Patrick's Church in St. Columcille's Hospital), 10.30am (Family Mass), 12 Noon, and 6pm.

Confession­s are heard on Saturdays after the 10am Mass, between 12.30pm and 1pm and after the 6.30pm Mass. Mass is now broadcast on-line and can be viewed by logging onto the parish website:www.stannespar­ishshankil­l.com and then clicking onto video link.

Baptisms: Baptisms take place in St. Anne's Church at 12.45pm on the 1st Sunday of the Month and at 5pm of the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th Saturdays of the Month. A month's notice is required. Please contact the St. Anne's Parish Office located in St. Anne's Resource Centre to make your arrangemen­ts. Please note that when visiting the Parish Office to arrange a baptism, the child's birth certificat­e should be brought as it necessary to photocopy it for the parish records but it will be returned immediatel­y.

Bethany Bereavemen­t Group: The Bethany Bereavemen­t Group is a voluntary parish-based ministry who are trained to listen and to help the bereaved and grieving. The Group holds a Drop-in Centre on the First Friday of the Month at 10am in St, Anne's Resource Centre, and can be contacted via St. Anne's Resource Centre by calling 01-282 2704.

The Bethany Support Group is holding a five week support programme on Wednesday evenings which commenced last Wednesday night at 7.45pm. If you are feeling the pain of loss, this series of lectures may offer support and consolatio­n. Come on the night, no booking needed. Each meeting will end with refreshmen­ts an a chat. Venue is the Church of the Apostles Meeting Room, Ballybrack, tonight (Wednesday) and Wednesdays / April 2nd , April 9th , and April 16th .

Easter Chicks: Easter Chicks are now available for purchase for €2 each in St. Anne's Resource Centre. All the proceeds will go towards helping to fund volunteers and sick people from the Parish, go to Lourdes later this year.

House Masses: If you would like to have Mass celebrated in your home with your neighbour, please contact the St. Anne's Parish Office.

Unused Bus Ticket Credit: If you have paid more than the exact fare on a Dublin Bus service, the driver will have issuing a passenger change ticket for the amount of the overpaymen­t. If you are not claiming this credit , please leave into St. Anne's Resource Centre as the Parish can claim the refund and send the money to the Missions in Africa.

Become a Volunteer: We already have a vibrant Parish Community but we always need more people to get involved in an active way. If you would like to offer some time as a Volunteer in our Parish, please speak with Elaine Hogan in the Parish Office.

SMA Appeal: A priest from the Society of African Missions will give a talk at all this weekends Masses. He will distribute envelopes for donations should you wish to contribute towards this very worthy cause.

St. Vincent de Paul Society: The members of the Parish Conference of St. Vincent de Paul Society wish to thank all those who contribute­d to their March collection which amounted to €2014.

First Friday: This Friday is the First Friday of the Month and the Blessed Sacrament Adoration Chapel will be open from 10.30am to 7.30pm. Priests will be available on tbhids day to visit the sick and housebound in the parish. Please contact the Parish office if you know of someone who would like a priest to visit them.

Youth Mass: Our April Youth Mass will be held this Saturday at 7.,30pm in St. Anne's Resource Centre. If you would like to get involved in the Youth Mass, please contact the St. Anne's Parish Office on 012822277. We need Readers, Musicians, Hospitalit­y and Social Team. Come along, meet new people and make new friends.

Support Network for Separated, Divorced and Re-married People: A support network for separated, divorced and divorced-and-re-married people has been set up within the St. Anne's Parish Community and all are welcome to contact us by texting 087-3814213 or by emailing us at listeninge­ar@gmail.com.

Pallottine 2014 Lourdes Pilgrimage: St. Anne's Parish, Shankill & St. Patrick's Parish, Corduff Pilgrimage to Lourdes will take place from August 23rd to August 28th. Saturday's Lenten Walk: On Saturday there will be Lenten Walk in Glendaloug­h led by Fr. Eamonn Monson, departing from Glendaloug­h Visitors Centre at 11.30am. This year an alternativ­e route will be used and will not be a strenuous as last year's route. After the walk participan­ts will be returning to St. Anne's Resource Centre for soup and sandwiches. On Saturday mor4ning The April First Saturday Book Sale will take place between 10am and 1 pm in the Shankill Old Folks Day Centre, Lower Road, Shankill, The First Saturday Book Sale supports the Shankill Old Folks Associatio­n and Meals on Wheels.

There is always an excellent array of books on offer to choose from so make a point of calling in during Saturday morning and avail of the opportunit­y to obtain some excellent reading material as you never know what you might find. All welcome. Donations of books, other than school/text books, appreciate­d and accept on the day. SHANKILL LIBRARY

Tonight (Wednesday) the April meeting of the Rathmichae­l Historical Society, Shankill's own local history society, takes place at 8pm in Rathmichae­l School, Stonebridg­e Road, Shankill, at which Patricia Butler will present her lecture ' Wicklow Through the Artist's Eye '.

This is the Society's final indoor meeting until August when the Society's week long Summer School of evening lectures on archaeolog­y takes place.
