KATIE TAY­LOR will be on Twit­ter on Thurs­day evening to an­swer ques­tions about health and fit­ness, as well as giv­ing in­sights into what she’s up to, her mo­ti­va­tions and her in­spi­ra­tions.

Katie will take over the ‘Right Track Pledge’ Twit­ter @RTPledge to do the Q&A ses­sion.

The Right Track Pledge cam­paign is be­ing run by Ara­mark Ire­land. The com­pany will do­nate 20 cent for ev­ery pledge made to its four cho­sen char­i­ties.

They are GIY (Grow it Yourself ); Galway Hospice; St. Patrick’s Men­tal Health Foun­da­tion and the Chil­dren’s Heart­beat Trust.

All you have to do to ask Katie some­thing on Thurs­day at 5 p.m. is tweet @RTPledge or use the hash­tag #RightTrack­Katie.

‘I’m re­ally ex­cited to take part in a Twit­ter Q&A as I think Twit­ter is a great way of get­ting a mes­sage out there, par­tic­u­larly about the im­por­tance of health and well­ness,’ said the Olympic gold medal­list.

‘ It’s also a fan­tas­tic op­por­tu­nity for me to share my tips and ex­pe­ri­ences with people di­rectly and en­cour­age them to get in­volved with the Right Track Pledge cam­paign.’

The Right Track Pledge cam­paign is an ini­tia­tive to pro­mote healthy eat­ing and work life bal­ance. Ara­mark is en­cour­ag­ing people across the coun­try to make their ‘ Pledge’ to Katie to change one thing in their lives, be it big or small, phys­i­cal or emo­tional well­be­ing.

‘As well as tweet­ing me your ques­tions, I want ev­ery­one to tweet their pledge. Whether your pledge is to take the stairs, go for a walk at lunch, or join a vol­un­teer or­gan­i­sa­tion, the aim is to get people to think twice about how their choices are af­fect­ing them and make one change for the bet­ter.’

Ara­mark aims to raise a to­tal of €7,000 dur­ing 2014.

There are a num­ber of ways to sub­mit a pledge. People can log on to Twit­ter and tweet their Pledge us­ing the hash­tag #RightTrack­Pledge or like the Right Track Face­book page and post their pledge.

Al­ter­na­tively, people can log on to Pin­ter­est, fol­low the Ara­mark Ire­land page and ‘pin’ their pledge to the Right Track Pledge board with a photo or video.
