Katie’s Twitter Q&A

-

KATIE TAYLOR will be on Twitter on Thursday evening to answer questions about health and fitness, as well as giving insights into what she’s up to, her motivations and her inspirations.

Katie will take over the ‘Right Track Pledge’ Twitter @RTPledge to do the Q&A session.

The Right Track Pledge campaign is being run by Aramark Ireland. The company will donate 20 cent for every pledge made to its four chosen charities.

They are GIY (Grow it Yourself ); Galway Hospice; St. Patrick’s Mental Health Foundation and the Children’s Heartbeat Trust.

All you have to do to ask Katie something on Thursday at 5 p.m. is tweet @RTPledge or use the hashtag #RightTrackKatie.

‘I’m really excited to take part in a Twitter Q&A as I think Twitter is a great way of getting a message out there, particularly about the importance of health and wellness,’ said the Olympic gold medallist.

‘ It’s also a fantastic opportunity for me to share my tips and experiences with people directly and encourage them to get involved with the Right Track Pledge campaign.’

The Right Track Pledge campaign is an initiative to promote healthy eating and work life balance. Aramark is encouraging people across the country to make their ‘ Pledge’ to Katie to change one thing in their lives, be it big or small, physical or emotional wellbeing.

‘As well as tweeting me your questions, I want everyone to tweet their pledge. Whether your pledge is to take the stairs, go for a walk at lunch, or join a volunteer organisation, the aim is to get people to think twice about how their choices are affecting them and make one change for the better.’

Aramark aims to raise a total of €7,000 during 2014.

There are a number of ways to submit a pledge. People can log on to Twitter and tweet their Pledge using the hashtag #RightTrackPledge or like the Right Track Facebook page and post their pledge.

Alternatively, people can log on to Pinterest, follow the Aramark Ireland page and ‘pin’ their pledge to the Right Track Pledge board with a photo or video.
