Mermaid is place to be for the kids

A NUM­BER of shows are lined up at Bray’s Mermaid Arts Cen­tre to keep the kids oc­cu­pied over the Easter break.

The clas­sic film Willy Wonka and The Choco­late Fac­tory screens on Sun­day April 13. Col­laps­ing Horse Theatre Com­pany bring their kid’s theatre show ‘ Hu­man Child’ to Mermaid for four shows on Wed­nes­day April 16 and Thurs­day April 17. This is a beau­ti­ful, en­chant­ing and highly ex­cit­ing piece of theatre for the whole fam­ily.

On Satur­day April 26, the voice of Clan­nad, Moya Bren­nan, joins harper Cor­mac de Barra on stage at Mermaid for Ten14, a cel­e­bra­tion of 1,000 years since the bat­tle of Clon­tarf.
