Glanbia CountryLife wins garden award

GLANBIA CountryLife in Ashford received a four-star Garden Centre Award at the Bord Bia Amenity Horticulture Awards in Dublin.

CountryLife in Ashford was one of 28 garden centres from across Ireland to receive this prestigious award at the ceremony, which celebrated excellence within the Irish horticulture industry and also recog- nises the efforts of practitioners to achieve the highest standards of operation.

Bord Bia's Chief Executive Aidan Cotter claimed that the award received by the Ashford centre reflected ' the highest standards in business operation, quality standards, innovation and retailing' in a sector worth €45 million annually.
