‘Out of Or­der’ has au­di­ence in stitches

THE NEW­TOWN Drama Group brought Ray Cooney's play ' Out of Or­der' to ap­pre­cia­tive au­di­ences in the Parkview Ho­tel for four great nights.

The hi­lar­i­ous com­edy charts Con­ser­va­tive MP Tom phan­tom in his at­tempts to keep per­sonal life - in­clud­ing adul­ter­ous af­fairs - out of the pub­lic eye in a bid to pre­serve his rep­u­ta­tion.

The play starred Richard Wil­ley in the lead role as well as Jane Worthington, Ciara Smith, Bernard Mooney, Michael Con­nolly, Paddy Hamil­ton, Der­mot Vick­ers, Ronny Worthington, Pamela Wil­ley, Pauline Byrne, Anne McHugh and Kathleen Vick­ers. Cathy Gal­lagher pro­duced and di­rected the per­for­mance while Ciaran Dor­gan and Derek Byrne pro­vided sound and light­ing.

A por­tion of funds raised from the show went to­wards lo­cal char­i­ties as well as the Ir­ish Heart Foun­da­tion.
