Library launches free online language courses

THE LIBRARY service has launched free online language courses for the people of Bray and Wicklow.

Wicklow County Council Library service has launched a great new free facility for everyone who wants to learn a foreign language and for people who wish to learn English as a foreign language.

Transparent Language Services is the online service where people can access a range of courses with innovative learning techniques.

Everybody who wishes to use this service should contact their nearest library, register (for free) and ask for a PIN – and they will access this very useful resource which includes a full range of downloadable audio books. ‘I think people will be surprised at the amount of resources that are available through their libraries and they should use them,’ said Cllr. John Ryan.
