Roundwood pair meet Joanne
JOANNE and Mark Burke from Roundwood met Ireland’s newest movie star, Joanne O’Riordan, who was guest of honour at a Top Security client evening.
Her ‘No Limbs No Limits’ documentary also opened on Irish cinema screens over the weekend.
At the event, Joanne spoke to the audience about the making of her documentary and the robot built for her by Trinity College engineers in response to the challenge she laid down to the tech community at the United Nations ITU conference in April 2012.
Joanne said, ‘ I was delighted to be asked to come to this event.
‘It was a huge honour for me to get the invite and I'm very excited to talk about my life and the documentary. I enjoyed filming the documentary all round, but maybe the early mornings were a bit of a pain. I hope that everyone goes out and sees it and I hope they feel inspired by it.’
