Holy Redeemer Youth Centre Update: Now that Dermot is moving on our Parish Youth Centre is entering a new phase. As an integral part of our outreach to the youth of Bray, the Holy Redeemer Youth Centre will continue to be available to our youth for many years to come. The Centre does, however, need some redecorati­ng and refurbishm­ent so it will be temporaril­y unavailabl­e from April 20th while this work is being carried out.

Our plan is to re-open the Youth Centre in mid-June with a programme of activities for the Summer months. We will update you on this plan over the coming weeks. Lourdes 2014 - 7th to 12th September: The parish will again join the

Leaders in the Queen of Peace Adventure Youth Club had a very successful weekend seminar. Decisions made included setting up a training and induction course for new leaders, the organisati­on of a parents meeting, and the introducti­on of snorkellin­g to the Tuesday evenings water sports.

Next club events are beautician night for the girls, and an over night camp out for the boys. ANXIETY/PANIC SUPPORT

The anxiety and panic support group meet on Wednesday evenings in the Ballywaltr­im Community Centre at 7.30 until 9.30pm. Today (Wednesday) James Scannell, Vice-Chairman & PRO of the Bray Cualann Historical Society, , will present a free lecture in Bray Library at 11.30am recalling ' Easter in Bray 100 Years Ago (1914) ' and all are welcome to attend.

Due to Easter the April meeting of the Society previously scheduled to take place tomorrow, April 17th , which is Holy Thursday, has been put back by one week to Thursday April 24th, at 8pm in the Bray Chamber of Commerce House 10 Prince of Wales Tce, Quinsboro Road, Bray, at which James Scannell will present his lecture ' Saving the Drowning Sailors - the MV Kerlogue Bay of Biscay December 1943 Rescue '. All welcome to attend.
