The Alpha In/Between Club: The Club will meet on April 29th at which the book for review and discussion will ' On Canaan's Side ' by Sebestian Barry. The book for the May meeting will be ' Blood on the Stones ' by Alan Grainger (of this parish). ST.ANNE'S PARISH

Resource Centre Hours: St. Anne's Resource Centre is open 9am to 8.30pm Monday to Thursday and on Friday from 9am to 3pm. Those requiring Baptism / Confirmati­on certificat­es or applicatio­n forms for Baptism can obtain them during the above hours. Please note that the Parish Office is the only place where certificat­es and applicatio­n forms can be processed.

Parish Office Hours: The Parish Office is open from 9am to 5pm Monday to Thursday and Friday from 9am to 3pm.

Mass Times: Mass is celebrated in St. Anne's Church at 10am and 7.30pm Monday to Friday, (except during July & August). Weekend Mass times are Saturday 6.30pm Vigil Mass and on Sunday at 8am, (9am in St. Patrick's Church in St. Columcille's Hospital), 10.30am (Family Mass), 12 Noon, and 6pm.

Confession­s are heard on Saturdays after the 10am Mass, between 12.30pm and 1pm and after the 6.30pm Mass. Mass is now broadcast on-line and can be viewed by logging onto the parish website:www.stannespar­ishshankil­l.com and then clicking onto video link.

Baptisms: Baptisms take place in St. Anne's Church at 12.45pm on the 1st Sunday of the Month and at 5pm of the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th Saturdays of the Month. A month's notice is required. Please contact the St. Anne's Parish Office located in St. Anne's Resource Centre to make your arrangemen­ts. Please note that when visiting the Parish Office to arrange a baptism, the child's birth certificat­e should be brought as it necessary to photocopy it for the parish records but it will be returned immediatel­y.

Bethany Bereavemen­t Group: The Bethany Bereavemen­t Group is a voluntary parish-based ministry who are trained to listen and to help the bereaved and grieving. The Group holds a Drop-in Centre on the First Friday of the Month at 10am in St, Anne's Resource Centre, and can be contacted via St. Anne's Resource Centre by calling 01-282 2704.

Holy Week and Easter Ceremonies: Today (Wednesday ): Mass at 10am and 7.30pm; Tomorrow - Holy Thursday: 10 am - Chrism Mass in the Pro-Cathedral, Dublin; 8pm - Mass of the Lord's Supper followed by Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament from 9pm to 10pm in St. Anne's Resource Centre.

Good Friday: 12 Noon - The Way of the Cross in St. Anne's Church; 3pm - Commemorat­ion of the Lord's Passion and Holy Communion; 7pm - Prayer around the Cross.

Easter Sunday: Holy Saturday: 9pm - Easter Vigil Mass. Easter Sunday: Mass at 8am, 9am in the Hospital, 10.30am, 12 Noon and 6pm.

Confession­s: Today (Wednesday ) : Penitentia­l Service at 8pm; Tomorrow - Holy Thursday: 12 Noon to 12.30pm; Good Friday: 3.45pm; Holy Saturday: 12 Noon to 12.30pm; 8pm to 8.30pm.

The Way of the Cross: Rehearsals will take place tomorrow (Holy Thursday) and on Good Friday at 11am in St. Anne's Resource Centre.

House Masses: If you would like to have Mass celebrated in your home with your neighbour, please contact the St. Anne's Parish Office.

May Youth Mass: Our May Youth Mass will be held on Saturday May 3rd at 7.30pm in St. Anne's Resource Centre. If you would like to get involved in the Youth Mass, please contact the St. Anne's Parish Office on 01-2822277. We need Readers, Musicians, Hospitalit­y and Social Team. Come along, meet new people and make new friends.

Not-So-Secret Choir: Once again the choir will assemble to rehearse for our Mass on Sunday June 8th - Pentecost Sunday, in celebratio­n of the vibrant community in Shankill. All musician and singers, who wish to be involved, are asked to meet for rehearsal between 8pm and 9pm in St. Anne's Church, each Tuesday night from April 29th. People from all ages are welcome and can look forward to enjoying a fun social gathering.

Unused Bus Ticket Credit: If you have paid more than the exact fare on a Dublin Bus service, the driver will have issuing a passenger change ticket for the amount of the overpaymen­t. If you are not claiming this credit , please leave into St. Anne's Resource Centre as the Parish can claim the refund and send the money to the Missions in Africa.

Become a Volunteer: We already have a vibrant Parish Community but we always need more people to get involved in an active way. If you would like to offer some time as a Volunteer in our Parish, please speak with Elaine Hogan in the Parish Office.

Support Network for Separated, Divorced and Re-married People: A support network for separated, divorced and divorced-and-re-married people has been set up within the St. Anne's Parish Community and all are welcome to contact us by texting 087-3814213 or by emailing us at listeninge­ar@gmail.com.

The May First Saturday Book Sale will take place between 10am and 1 pm in the Shankill Old Folks Day Centre, Lower Road, Shankill, on Saturday May 3rd . All welcome. Donations of books, other than school/text books, appreciate­d and accept on the day. SHANKILL LIBRARY

The opening hours for Shankill Library are 10am to 1pm and from to 5pm on Mondays and Wednesdays and on alternate Fridays and Saturdays. The library is open on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 2pm to 8pm. Today (Wednesday) Rathmichae­l Historical Society member James Scannell will present his lecture ' Easter in Bray 100 Years Ago ( 1914) ' in Bray Library at 11.30am. All welcome - admission free. CLEAN UP DAY

Last Saturday Shankill Tidy Towns held its Annual Clean Up Day similar to the format used last year. Meetings points were at the top of Quinn's Road and outside the Garda Station. Other residentia­l groups and organisati­ons also held their work activities at various locations around the District. BLOOD DONATIONS

The mobile unit of the Irish Blood Transfusio­n Service will be in the Royal Hotel, Bray, on Thursday April 24th from 3pm to 5pm & 7pm to 9pm and on Sunday April 27th from 12.30pm to 4pm. FUNDRAISIN­G CAR WASH

On Friday April 25th the 52nd Dublin Scout Group will hold a fundraisin­g car wash fro9m 6.30pm to 9pm in St. Anne's National School, Shankill. €7 per car.
