Congratula­tions to all those who took part in the Wicklow championsh­ips, the finals of which were held in Roundwood and the triumphant morning players were Marion, Gill, Mary, Paddy and Ger.

Congratula­tions to our Three Juvenile Teams who recently won the Dublin League in Under 17, Under 15 and Under 13. A brilliant result for our youngsters whom had very tough opposition to get to this final. Roundwood Historical Societies April event “Farewell to Delgany, likes wise the Glen” the Music & Songs of County Wicklow from The Traditiona­l Music Archive, presented by Grace Toland, takes place at 8pm on Monday 28th April in Calary Church.

Grace Toland is Librarian af the Irish Traditiona­l Music Archive in Dublin and is a traditiona­l singer. She plans the annual Inishowen Singing Weekend and was the driving force behind the Inishowen Song Project.
