East Coast Classic Car fundraiser

THE ANNUAL East Coast Classics Car Club fundraiser takes place on the May Bank Holiday Sunday, May 4.

In a departure from the traditional quayside venue the event will take place at Bridgewater Centre to ensure that bad weather will not hamper the proceedings.

Members of East Coast Classics and Dairin Murphy of Bridgewater Centre officially launched the Vintage Show this week and are inviting car enthusiasts to show their support.

This year’s event is in aid of Arklow Sea Scouts and while admission is free it is hoped that donations will be plentiful on the day.

Cars will be displayed in the underground car park while tractors and lorries will go on show outside the centre.

Registration takes place inside the centre from 12p.m. and the show runs from 2-6p.m. Music will be provided by Dinny Monahan with a guest appearance from Brian Lalor.

Vintage and classic vehicles of all descriptions will be exhibited so this is an event not to be missed.
