GREY­STONES res­i­dent, Gerry Walsh, has been liv­ing and work­ing in the com­mu­nity for 28 years. He has worked in a vol­un­tary ca­pac­ity for many or­gan­i­sa­tions and lo­cal com­mit­tees deal­ing with is­sues in­clud­ing; road and pub­lic safety, crime preven­tion and de­tec­tion. Gerry has also as­sisted in the or­gan­i­sa­tion of events such as Grey­stones Arts Fes­ti­val, St Pa­tricks Day Pa­rade, Ir­ish Open Golf and the Spe­cial Olympics.

“I have a keen in­ter­est in sport and a long stand­ing GAA as­so­ci­a­tion in­clud­ing ten years with Eire Og Club in coach­ing and ad­min­is­tra­tion roles. I have acted as chair­man of the ju­ve­nile and adult sec­tions of the club and as its’ County Board Del­e­gate.
