GREYSTONES resident, Gerry Walsh, has been living and working in the community for 28 years. He has worked in a voluntary capacity for many organisati­ons and local committees dealing with issues including; road and public safety, crime prevention and detection. Gerry has also assisted in the organisati­on of events such as Greystones Arts Festival, St Patricks Day Parade, Irish Open Golf and the Special Olympics.

“I have a keen interest in sport and a long standing GAA associatio­n including ten years with Eire Og Club in coaching and administra­tion roles. I have acted as chairman of the juvenile and adult sections of the club and as its’ County Board Delegate.

My community involvemen­t gives me a unique insight into the needs and wants of residents and the locality, which enables me to represent YOU as YOUR public representa­tive.” My Priorities • Listen and act on the concerns and needs of the community • Protect the vulnerable in our community • Actively promote youth employment • Support and help develop local business • Facilitate the expansion of tourism • Address issues of coastal erosion and flooding • Preserve and enhance local amenities • Restore confidence and dignity in local politics “VOTE FOR ME, TO ENABLE ME, TO REPRESENT YOU!”
