The bless­ing of the graves in Glen­dalough will take place on Fri­day 9th May at 8pm and in Brock­agh on Fri­day 16th May at 8pm. There will be mass on both oc­ca­sions in St. Kevins Church be­fore the bless­ings at 7pm. SYM­PA­THY

Round­wood Plough­ing So­ci­ety would like to ex­tend their sin­cere sym­pa­thy to the Power Fam­ily on the re­cent death of Robert Power. Robert was an ac­tive and val­ued mem­ber of the so­ci­ety for many years and will be greatly missed. May he rest in peace. LUNCH CLUB

Track and Field: Call­ing all chil­dren be­tween the ages of five and seven­teen who are in­ter­ested in rep­re­sent­ing the Round­wood, Moneystown, Laragh area in the Co, fi­nals of track and field are asked to please come to Aras an Tochair on Wed­nes­day May 7th at 5.45 for our lo­cal run-offs. There are many dif­fer­ent events for all ages from run­ning to jump­ing to ball throw and javelin. You do not need to be a mem­ber of an ath­letic club to take part. If you are in­ter­ested please con­tact Ann Marah or El­iz­a­beth Bel­ton. Swim­ming: We also hope to en­ter in the Co fi­nals of the swim­ming com­pe­ti­tion. Calary Par­ish is launch­ing a cel­e­bra­tion of the an­niver­sary of the Pin­hole Cam­era, which was in­vented by Wil­liam Henry Fox Tal­bot in 1834. On In­ter­na­tional Pin­hole Cam­era Day, which is Sun­day 27 April, ev­ery­one is in­vited to Calary Church at 11 am to cel­e­brate this event and also to take part in a Pin­hole Cam­era work­shop to en­cour­age people to get in­volved in mak­ing their own pin­hole cam­era and tak­ing stun­ning pho­to­genic draw­ing process im­ages of their own. These will be ex­hib­ited, along with other pho­to­graphic para­pher­na­lia, dur­ing Her­itage Week (23 to 31 Au­gust) in Calary Church. LOTTO RE­SULTS

Morn­ing Bad­minton continues ev­ery Tues­day from 9.30 un­til 11am for any­one who would like to join us. Beginners are al­ways wel­come as are im­provers and those who just want to play! Con­grat­u­la­tions to all those who took part in the Wick­low cham­pi­onships, the fi­nals of which were held last Sat night in Round­wood and the tri­umphant morn­ing play­ers were Mar­ion, Gill, Mary, Paddy and Ger. Hard to be­lieve 2 years ago some of these had never stood on a bad­minton court let alone reach a fi­nal so well done to all of you. WHIST
