Man had no trousers on at time of arrest

A GREYSTONES man was arrested in Newcastle because he was wearing just a T-shirt, underwear and pair of socks.

Bray District Court last week heard that Dane Colbert (26) 14 Mill Grove, Killincarrig, Greystones, also had a jumper with him at the time, but it was pulled up around his head rather than being worn properly.

The incident occurred at Seacourt in Newcastle around 8 a.m. on December 13 when gardai responded to a call.

The Court heard that Colbert became aggressive and had to be subdued. He was brought to Bray Station and charged.

He was released in the afternoon when he came back to the front desk at the station and shouted abuse at Garda Aidan Tobin. He had to be arrested again. Judge David Kennedy adjourned the matter to May 8 for finalisation.
