Teenager had stolen car
A GOREY resident was in Bray District Court last week for taking a car.
Eric Sutcliffe (19), of 9 The Park, Clonattin Village, pleaded guilty to the offence at Kilcroney on April 25.
He entered a plea of guilty to the offence last November however never attended any of his probation report appointments.
‘He has no excuse,’ said solicitor Conway O’Hara, adding that someone gave him the car which he knew was stolen.
He said that Sutcliffe was hanging around with a certain crowd at the time of the crime. He now lives in Gorey with his sister.
Judge David Kennedy handed down a sentence of four months detention.
