Pipe band seeking support

ST. PATRICK’S Pipe Band presented a petition to Wicklow County Council on Monday before the monthly meeting. Speaking at the meeting Cllr. John Snell asked the chairman of the council, Cllr. Jimmy O’Shaughnessy, to acknowledge the petition saying the Pipe Band is looking for support. He said ‘I think they deserve it. They have been without a home for 68 years and hopefully after the election people who are supporting them will continue to give them support.’
